Tel. 0114 266 5425. Father Andrzej Pyster and Chairman Ms Anna Bauer. Within the Sheffield Parish, this active Centre looks after the spiritual life of Poles. Opened in 1964, Mass is said there every day. As well as a small library, restaurant and meeting room facilities are also available for hire.

The school runs Polish language classes for children aged between 4 and 16. In addition to gaining important insights into Polish history, culture and traditions, the courses lead to British ‘GCSE’ and ‘A’ level qualifications.

Tel. 0114 266 1238. Chairman Mr Zdzislaw Szewczyk. Formed in 1947 by demobilised Poles, the present Polish Club has remained in continual use since 1954. This now famous Club is a focus for ex-servicemen fellowship and has excellent facilities used by Sheffield people too.
