21/01/09 Jobs for Carers in Kent

My client is a full-service care provider within Kent, on the South East coast of England. There are great opportunities to work in this rural county which is only a short distance from Central London.

    Care Assistant job openings include:

    • Community Care Assistants - helping a number of people for half and hour to an hour in their own homes
    • Live In Care Assistants - helping a person while living with them in their own home
    • Care Home Assistants - helping people who reside in one of our Care Homes

As many of our clients are elderly females, we are most interested in mature, females who have an intermediate level of English. As the roles require training as well criminal record checks to be made, they are not really suitable for people interested in short-term, casual work.

There are Senior positions for those with Care experience as well as positions for those willing and able to train with us. They also have positions available for domestic assistants, cleaning staff, catering staff. All these positions require interaction with elderly, often frail clients so empathy for their situation is a key requirement for candidates as is an ability to offer companionship as well as Care.

My client offers very competitive salaries and with the additional benefit of low-cost accommodation if required. Additionally, for qualified drivers and where the position requires it (Community and Live In positions) , a company car will be made available.

The quality of life in Kent is very good while the cost of living is significantly less than London which is only 90 minutes away by train.

My client will pick up recruitment costs; candidates are not charged for finding jobs. Initial interviews will be carried out over the phone.

For an application form and complete job descriptions, please email (in English): carejobs@tcmmanagement.com enclosing a CV or some basic details about yourself (e.g. age, experience, language & driving ability).
